Gina Rodriguez and America Ferrera were mistaken
with one another on Thursday morning.
Ferrera was the
first person to move on stage to make the announcement and she was looking
wonderful in a black and gold dress.
At the Golden Globes announcement for
nomination, the Hollywood Foreign Press thought America to be as Gina when they
were sending out the tweets at Hilton Hotel, Beverly.
This mistake from HFP happened not just one
time, but two.
The announcement for the nominees of 73rd
Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will be held in January, was made by Ferrera
along with Denis Quaid, Chloe Grace Moretz, Angela Bassett.

The Twitter account of Golden Globes shared a
photograph of Ferrera and labelled her as Gina.
The tweet was, however, quickly
put down, but the thousands of followers were quick enough to spot it and
pointed it out to the organization about the confusion.
America is a 2007 winner of Golden Globe award
for her role in Ugly Betty on ABC. She was given the award for Best Performance
by an Actress in a Comedy or Musical television series.
Rodriguez has won the Golden Globe award for
her role in Jane the Virgin and she was for the first actress on The CW to be
judged so.
