Michael Crawford To Play The Role Of Frank Spencer Again For Sport Relief

Michael Crawford will reappear for the role of Frank Spencer, one that he played in ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em. The episode was aired in 1978 on BBC comedy one the Christmas Day.

74 year old Crawford will reunite with Michele Dotrice, who plays the role of his on-screen wife and Olympic cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins is also to make an appearance in the feature, leading to one of the typical disasters from Frank.

Sir Bradley added that he is delighted and thrilled that he has been asked to bring back Frank. He also mentioned that he has been a big fan of Michael and that he feels honoured to have got the chance to work along with an iconic personality from television, and that too for such as wonderful cause.

Dotrice mentioned that it will be really fun to reunite with Frank one more time and what makes this meet special is that it is for a wonderful cause.

The show was last aired in 1978, and as it wrapped, Crawford starting working in The Phantom of the Opera which was the original production and other successful productions of Andrew Lloyd Weber such as The Wizard of Oz.
