“The Ridiculous 6”, the latest movie from Adam
Sandler premieres today. However, we still have to wait for the movie to be
screened on theaters. Here is the twist; Netflix has booked all the rights to
showcase the movie across the world.
“The Ridiculous 6” is the story about an
orphaned outlaw brought up by Native Americans. Rob Schneider, Steve Buscemi,
and Taylor Lautner also star in the satirical western movie, in which the
orphaned outlaw discovers that he has five half-siblings.
Adam Sandler along with his five brothers becomes
“The Ridiculous 6”. They go on a mission to rescue their father who got
kidnapped long time ago. This is one among the series of four original movies
that the 49 year old Sandler will create for Netflix.
Jackie Sandler husband Adam is not the favorite
one in the movie industry now. Movie makers have lost faith on him that he cannot
come out with a box office buster, something that used to happen in the days of
Big Daddy.
Even before the movie hit the big screen, “The
Ridiculous 6” was given the tag of being a racist when many Native American
actors left the set in April. 1.77 m tall Sandler tried to ease out the
situation calling it as misunderstanding.
Netflix, it seems, want to prove Sandler’s
critics wrong and believes that he has still got that shine to come out with a
big score. Adam Sandler’s comedy movies are still being loved beyond the US,
even if detractors have turned away their face.
Netflix is banking on new overseas subscribers
where the humor of Sandler knows no language barrier.
