Emma Thompson Pays Tribute To Close Friend Late Alan Rickman

There is little doubt on the acting abilities of Emma Thompson.

The world famous British actress was recently seen on Tuesday at the 66th Berlinale International Film Festival.

The blonde star was the VIP guest at the event which was organized to pay tribute to her close fellow and friend, Alan Rickman, whom we lost recently.

Thompson had come at the event for the screening of Sense and Sensibility as well.

Thompson looked quite animated as she appeared for the event and paid tribute to her close friend, the late Alan Rickman.

Rickman met an unexpected death and was suffering from cancer.

56 year old Emma Thompson was dressed according to the occasion; wearing a scooped-neck, silk blouse that was coupled with black, fitted trousers.

The glamour was further amped-up as she slapped loads of make-up, and not to forget the distinctive red lipstick.

Wearing minimum amount of accessories, the ensemble she was wearing cut a classy figure.

Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman have worked together on a number of occasions. They played the role of Colonel Brandon and Elinor Dashwood and worked together in 1995 Sense and Sensibility.

They were seen again together in 2003, as Karen and Harry in Love Actually, where they broke hearts as troubled couples.

The mother of two, Emma Thompson answered some questions in a variety of animated expressions as she introduced the movie.

Holding the microphone in one hand, she gave the maximum dramatic effect with her other hand gesticulating wildly.

There was a moment when she almost hides herself behind the curtain as she laughed and joked along with her friend.

What looks like that she was in tears deep inside her heart at the loss of his close friend Alan Rickman. This show of excitement and energy was just a means used by her to hide her sadness inside.
