Move America Towards Full Renewable Energy Use - Leonardo DiCaprio

What do we hang above the crib of our new born baby?

Many people hang toys and there are some with their unique ideas.

Leonardo DiCaprio at People's Climate March in New York, 2014
Parents of Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio hung a dystopian visual description of Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch above his crib in the unpleasant neighborhood of East Hollywood of Los Angeles.

It can be said to be the earliest memories of DiCaprio.

“You literally see Adam and Eve being given paradise,” says DiCaprio, sitting in a Miami Beach restaurant. Below the table, his feet play with the canvas loafers.

The star of Titanic is making a movie on climate change and he just finished an interview.

His new movie has already taken him to Antarctica polar cap and to the flood plains of India. At present he is close to Miami playgrounds where he once left a nightclub with every woman from his VIP section.

He talks about the earliest painting which he saw, describing about the fruits that this environment has given mankind and people enjoying them, here we are in the middle of overpopulation.

There is a said laugh on DiCaprio’s face coupled with a smile that one can mistake as a scorn. He continued, then there are black skies and everything is burnt down. He shrugged for a moment and said that is his favorite painting.

Leonardo DiCaprio is happily stranded between the brightness of his own life, a personal collection of fossil, a looming Oscar, and the darkness of the roasted world he is living in with denials Republicans and a coastline of Bangladesh which will be almost half way under water by 2050.

He wants that we should move beyond fossil fuels now and image a world where everything is run on renewable energy sources. It is a time to save the world rather than concentrate on Iraq War.

According to Martin Scorsese, a long-time collaborator, Leonardo has a knowledgeable restlessness. He spends a good amount of time reading texts and books and gaining information.

Someone close to DiCaprio may ask him to cool down a bit, but, this is something that will not happen. According to Mark Ruffalo, there are only a handful of people who have the understanding like this guy in terms of climate change.

Recently DiCaprio and Ruffalo have grouped together to start Solutions Project, wherein there are a number of stars and scientists who want to make America free from dependency on fossil fuel.

According to Ruffalo, the star of The Revenant is really working hard towards it.
