Samsung DeX Pad Delivers Desktop-Like Experience for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+

DeX Pad available for preorder in advance of May 13 retail and online launch

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ – April 6, 2018 – Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced availability of the Samsung DeX Pad[1] in the U.S. beginning May 13. Introduced alongside the award-winning Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, DeX Pad enables a desktop-like experience for the Galaxy smartphone[2]. For those who are always on the go, the DeX Pad enables enhanced document editing, full-screen mobile gaming, PC-style multitasking and more for your Galaxy smartphone.

Consumers are able to pre-order DeX Pad on Samsung.com starting today, and for a limited time[3], a purchase of the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ on Samsung.com will include a free[4] DeX Pad ($99.99 retail value)[5].

In addition, DeX gives enterprise IT admins enhanced customization and management tools through Knox APIs[7], including the ability to disable apps, change the loading screen, add/remove shortcuts from the home screen, and set the screen timeout.
